Senior Management Team
Program and fiscal leadership is provided by the CEO and a core of staff employees. Our clinical team consists of a multi-disciplinary blend of ethnically and culturally diverse professionals including psychiatrist, clinical psychologists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, licensed marriage and family therapists, chemical dependency counselors, interns, parent educators, in-home counselors, and case-managers. We are fortunate to have such an extremely competent and experienced leadership team.
William L Nigh, Executive Director
Mr. William Nigh has been with the agency since its incorporation. He attended Pasadena City College, UCLA, and Glendale City College where he studied in the Child Psychology and Alcohol and Drug Studies Specialist programs. He is a Certified Hypnotherapist with a specialization in neuro-linguistic programmming, having graduated from the Hypnosis Motivation Institute. Prior to joining the Center for Integrated Family and Health Services as its director, Mr. Nigh worked as a Senior Research Consultant for Tulleners Research and Consulting in Pasadena, California. In that capacity, Mr. Nigh contributed to a number of research studies, reports and presentations focusing on prevention, early intervention and on mental health services for vulnerable populations.
During his tenure at the agency, Mr. Nigh has increased agency revenue from $400,000 to over $4.20 million. He has expanded programs to include chemical dependency treatment (Sober Solution), mental health service, primary care, parenting classes, anger management classes, life skills and teen parenting.
Aja Tulleners Lesh, PhD, RN, Interim Head of Services
Dr. Lesh has been with the agency since 1999 and utilizes her extensive clinical and aministrative backgrount to inform the agency's mental health programs and to promote integration of mental health services with primary care.
Aubrey King, M.D., Medical Director
Dr. Aubrey King has been with CIFHS since 2007, where he serves as the Medical Director for our Sober Solutions program, and provides psychiatric services through our mental health services program. Dr. King received his MD from the State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center, in 1984. Dr. Kind completed a Fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Cedar-Sinai Medical Center from 2002 to 2004. He has had extensive experience in Internal Medicine, General Psychiatry, and Forensic Psychiatry. He has worked at a number of community and state hospitals and prisons, and was the Medical Director of the Shadin Hills Adolescent Center at Hillsides Children’s Services from 1998 to 2006. Dr. King is a Diplomate to the American Board of Medicine and the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He was Certified as a Subspecialist in Addiction Psychiatry in 1998, and Board Certified in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in 2006.
Carlos Vargas, Program Manager - Sober Solutions
Carlos is a therapist and addiction counselor. He received his degree from Cal State University in San Bernardina. He has been with the agency since 2018.(CATC III).
Kimberly Nguyen, Director of Finance and Administration
Kimberly Nguyen joined CIFHS in 2005, and serves as our Director of Finance and Administration. She is a graduate of Waterson College, where she received a degree in Special Computerized Accounting. Ms. Nguyen worked in bookkeeping, accounting, payroll and contract coordination positions prior to joining our team, including extensive experience at Children’s Bureau of Southern California.
Alison Iong-Szeto, Ph.D., Clinical Supervisor
Dr. Iong-Szeto joined CIFHS in February 2007 as a Clinical Psychologist. By September 2007, she was promoted to the position of Clinical Supervisor for master level and doctoral level trainees, as well as MFT interns. She earned her B.A. in Psychology from Hunter College, CUNY, 1991, and her Ph.D. degree in Clinical Psychology from Long Island University, NY in 1999. She has worked in the field of mental health since 1992, primarily providing therapeutic services for adults, children, adolescents and families. Dr. Iong-Szeto is fluent in Cantonese as well as conversational Mandarin.
